Each day that we thank the skies above for gifting us Taylor Swift, we should really be praising Jason Alexander.
The Seinfeld star caught up with TMZ at a recent charity event and told the story of how he had a hand in the rise of Swift as we know her.
“Not only am I a Swift fan, I put her in her first video,” George Costanza told cameras. “It wasn’t her video. It was a Brad Paisley video.”

The video in question? “Online,” released in 2007 from Paisley’s 5th Gear album, which Alexander directed. Swift indeed appears in the clip—as a backup dancer, along with fellow country singer Kellie Pickler.
“Yeah, it’s all me,” he said, taking credit for Swift’s discovery.
